When you request the Business Scan or send a message, we collect the details you provide (name, work email, optional phone, business name, website, your answers to the questionnaire) to deliver the scan, reply to you and, if you ask us to, scope further work. The lawful basis is your request (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to measure which pages are read and whether our advertising reaches business owners. These set first-party cookies on this domain and send usage data to Google and Meta under their own privacy terms. You can limit this by clearing this site's data in your browser, by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics and advertising trackers, or by using Google's and Meta's own opt-out settings.
We do not collect your customers' data — patient, guest or otherwise — through this site and we do not need it for the audit. Please do not include customer information in messages to us.
Your details are seen by Silvengate partners and the systems we use to run email and hosting. We do not sell data and we do not add you to a newsletter or list. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, standard contractual safeguards apply.
Enquiries and scan requests are kept for 24 months from last contact, then deleted, unless we are working together, in which case the contract governs.
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or to object to processing, by writing to hello@silvengate.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
